Residential Colleges

Six themed residential colleges provide a home-away-from-home experience. Each college has its own dining hall, common rooms, courtyards, and faculty-in-residence. Students develop lifelong friendships in these close-knit living-learning communities.

Dining & Food

Eight dining halls, a food court with 15 vendors, organic farm-to-table options, and three cafés. Our award-winning dining program accommodates all dietary requirements and features cuisines from around the world.

Recreation Center

A 120,000 sq. ft. athletics complex with an Olympic-size pool, climbing wall, fitness studios, indoor track, basketball courts, and a wellness spa. Free personal training sessions for all students.

University Library System

Five libraries with 4 million volumes, 24/7 study spaces, rare book collections, digital media labs, and 200+ private study rooms. Our main library is an architectural landmark dating to campus founding.

Performing Arts Center

A 1,500-seat concert hall, two black box theaters, rehearsal studios, and a digital media production facility. Over 100 performances per semester, from student productions to visiting world-class artists.

Green Spaces & Gardens

Botanical gardens, meditation paths, outdoor amphitheater, and 50 acres of preserved woodlands. Our campus was recognized as a Tree Campus USA for its commitment to environmental stewardship.

Founders' Week

A week-long celebration in October honoring our founding with lectures by distinguished guests, faculty showcases, community service days, and the legendary Founders' Ball.

Midnight Breakfast

During finals week, faculty and administrators serve breakfast at midnight in the main dining hall. A beloved tradition that brings the community together during the most stressful time of the semester.

The Big Give

An annual 24-hour fundraising marathon where students, alumni, and friends compete by college and class year to raise funds for student scholarships and campus improvements.

Convocation Walk

New students walk through the iconic Scholars' Gate during orientation, greeted by the entire faculty. At graduation, they walk back through the gate toward the world beyond.

Spring Festival

A three-day celebration of music, art, and culture featuring student bands, food trucks, carnival rides, and a headlining performance by a major recording artist.

Research Showcase

An annual event where undergraduates present their research to the campus community and visiting industry partners, often leading to publication opportunities and job offers.
